Envision is a ministry of the Christian and Missionary Alliance (C&MA). Envision identifies and develops missional leaders who innovate, establish, and strengthen communities of faith in key urban environments. We do this through short-term trips, internships, leadership development, and ministry opportunities in the alliance Family.

ENVISION: CHICAGO is a diverse, incarnational ministry strategically located in the inner city of Chicago where they are committed to sharing the gospel with those within their reach. Some of their ministry areas include: After School Programs, English Teaching, Cross Cultural Immersion, Urban Outreach, Community Development/Education, and Family & Youth Ministries.

SALARY/PAY: The position is an unpaid internship serving alongside our Envision site team. The intern will need to raise support to cover all of the on the grounds needs of $1200 / Month; the only other expenses to consider are airfare.

The individual holding the above position must be an active participant in an evangelical Christian church, accept and abide by the Statement on Abstinence from Addictive Practices, accept and live in accordance with The Christian and Missionary Alliance Statement of Faith, and refrain from behavior which detracts from the Christian testimony of The Christian and Missionary Alliance.

 

GENERAL SIGN-OFF:The intern is expected to adhere to all Envision policies and to act as a role model in the adherence to policies.

• 18 years old and older
• High school graduate or equivalent
