Intern: Deaf and Hard of Hearing Ministries

Envision is a ministry of the Christian and Missionary Alliance (C&MA). Envision identifies and develops missional leaders who innovate, establish, and strengthen communities of faith in key urban environments. We do this through short-term trips, internships, leadership development, and ministry opportunities in the alliance Family.

ENVISION: DEAF MINISTRIES vision is Gospel access for and from the Deaf world. This vision is two-fold: helping create Gospel access in Deaf communities around the world and mobilize Deaf people into global Gospel ministries. This is Envision's first non-geographic site - the ministry’s focus is people oriented instead of location based.

Salary/Pay: The position is an unpaid internship serving alongside our Envision site team. The intern will need to raise support to cover all of the on the ground needs (amount discussed and determined in conversation with Site); the only other additional expense to consider is airfare.

  • Exercises discretion and responsible judgment; addresses internal and external questions and issues and ensures effective and long-term problem resolution

The individual holding the above position must be an active participant in an evangelical Christian church, accept and abide by the Statement on Abstinence from Addictive Practices, accept and live in accordance with The Christian and Missionary Alliance Statement of Faith, and refrain from behavior which detracts from the Christian testimony of The Christian and Missionary Alliance.

 

GENERAL SIGN-OFF:The intern is expected to adhere to all Envision policies and to act as a role model in the adherence to policies.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 18 years old and older
  • High school graduate or equivalent
  • US Citizen

INTERNSHIPS AVAILABLE:

  • Flexible start and end dates
  • 1-11 Months
